Trachyte Circuit Glasshouse
This is an easy / moderate 6km circuit at the base of Mt Tibrogargan in the Glasshouse Mountains. This is a popular walk as its not a difficult climb like many of the Glasshouse mountain trails so is suitable for most fitness levels.
Activities: Walking & hiking.
Parking: Carpark at Mt Tibrogargan off Marshs Rd or Barrs Rd, Beerburrum.
The Trail
The trail takes you through the Glasshouse mountains National park. Mostly shady trails that are well worn and easy to navigate. Although we did miss a turn at one point only because we weren’t paying too much attention to directions. I loved this trail because you can get to see the beauty of this area without having to climb a mountain.
Views
The views of nearby mountains are beautiful. There is a lookout on the trail which is worth stopping at and you can also get glimpses of the mountains through the trees from the trail.
