The trail follows alongside Obi Obi creek before it loops around past the golf course and back to start. There is a platypus viewing spot not too far in, where you may spot some platypus early or late afternoon.
There are some shady sections but some of the trail is open along the golf course side so take a hat if sunny.
You can also take a detour off the trail to Gardners Falls and Obi Obi creek picnic area which are both sign posted.
Scenery
There are sculptures along the trail as well as the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Poetry Trail. The trail includes some history of the area also. Track varies from open sections alongside the golf course, to rainforest and shady forest as well as farmland. Obi Obi creek is nearby for much of the trail.
