This is a 7km one way or 14km return trail along coastal pathway from the lake at Currimundi to Kings beach in Caloundra.
Activities: Walking, running, bikes, picnic tables, swim.
Parking: You can start from either end. I parked along Watson Street, Currimundi.
You can do shorter versions of this walk from Kings beach if preferred – Kings Beach to Shelly Beach
Currimundi
Currimundi lake joins the beach at the start of this walk for a nice contrast. You can walk along the lake and around to the beach or join the pathway from the start.
So much to see along this pathway and a busy pathway in some sections. Well worth doing this either in one go or as an out and back trail.
Dicky Beach
Beautiful coastal trail follows the coastline and passes Tooway Creek.
Shelley Beach
Pathway takes you through George Watson Park and along the picturesque coastline.
Pathway
This is a beautiful pathway with plenty to see along the way. It’s hard to stop and turn back when walking this stretch.
Kings Beach
This is a very popular and busy beach in Caloundra. If you would like to continue further, add on Kings Beach to Bulcock Beach.
“You can’t cross the ocean of life just by dreaming about it, you have to jump in and swim.”
