Lake Weyba Bush Trail Loop

22 February 2021 Sunshine Coast Walks 1 Comments

This is an easy 6.9km circuit from lake Weyba with a loop around the quiet streets and nearby bush trail.

Activities: Walking, running, dog walking.

Parking: End of Charlotte drive, Weyba Downs on lakefront.

The Trail

This trail includes a mix of lakefront, quiet suburban streets and nearby forest.

Scenery

The quiet serenity of the lake at the start and end of this trail with native bush and a short stint along a quiet suburban street makes for a pleasant walk.

Directions

This trail starts from the lake carpark and you can walk back along Charlotte Drive then turn left onto Eumarella road and you will see forest entrance opposite. At the end of this track turn right onto Tidswell road and then on the left there is another entrance to forest trail.

You follow the trail around to the left until you reach Tidswell road again then come back along this road. When you reach Eumarella road again turn left and walk along nature strip until you reach the lake foreshore track and follow the lake track back to the start. I recommend downloading the map for this one.

the one that has opened for us.”

Poorly marked and not maintained trail in middle of nowhere. We rode to entrance on bike and had to share road with vehicles with little or no bike lane. Not recommended.
