Point Cartwright & La Balsa Park loop

This is an easy 3.5km out and back loop around Point Cartwright reserve and headland on the mouth of the Mooloolah river in Buddina, near Kawana.

Activities: Walking, dog walking.

Parking: Parking is available at La Balsa Park along Harbour Parade Buddina.

Point Cartwright

This walk is one of my favorites. It’s dog friendly and has a great well maintained pathway as well as beautiful scenery along the river on one side and then the ocean on the other.

The Trail

Paved pathway and boardwalk along this trail. There is a section where you can go via bush track through the reserve.

Mooloolah River

The river on one side and the ocean on the other makes this a really beautiful walk. With lovely forest and parkland in between. Mooloolah riverfront on one side and Kawana beach on the other.
