Piccabeen Circuit Mapleton

This is a moderate 7km loop in Mapleton Forest Reserve. This track is popular with hikers & horse riders. There are a few trails to choose from here. This is track 3 and has some hills.

Activities: Walking, hiking.

Parking: Mapleton Day use area, on Mapleton Forest road, Mapleton.

The Trail

This is a lovely shady forest with beautiful tall trees and well maintained tracks. Creek crossings have stepping stones to cross. The trail is well marked and easy to follow.

Mapleton Day use Area

Toilets and picnic tables and BBQ in the day use area. They also have designated parking for horse floats. There are other trails you can do from here and this area is also a section of the Great walk.
