This is an easy 2.4km out and back trail in Mapleton forest.
Activities: Walking, hiking.
Parking: Trail entrance is on the right along gravel section of Delicia Road, Mapleton (approx 5.5km along Delicia road).
This is a fairly easy walk to a very pretty waterfall with a swimming hole. The track is mostly downhill on the way to the falls, and a gradual incline on the way back.
The Falls
I’ve seen people swimming right up to the falls, but I’ve only ever been to this one when it’s too cold to swim. The falls are best seen after a decent amount of rain otherwise it won’t have much water flowing.
The Trail
The trail is mostly shady and is rocky in places and can get overgrown. There is beautiful rainforest with lots of birdlife. This trail is also part of the Sunshine coast great walk so you can extend and do a longer hike to Ubajee Walkers camp from this start point.
The trail is well signposted so easy to follow.
