This trail is an easy 5.3km out and back trail in Peregian beach with views of Mt Peregian (Emu Mountain) and includes a bush trail from Peregian breeze estate to the beach.
Activities: Walking, jogging, swim & dog walking
Parking: Carpark at Peregian Breeze shops on Emu Mountain Road
The trail takes you through the Emu Swamp Section of Noosa National Park and is best when dry as it can get a bit wet after heavy rainfall. The trail commences on the eastern side of shops and continues until you reach the roundabout on Emu Mountain Road and David low way. Continue across David low way and head towards beach through a pathway and up Lorikeet Drive into Pitta street to beach access #67.
Enjoy the beach and then head back the same way.
Dog friendly track.
There isn’t a lot of shade on this trail and some sections of the track can get a bit overgrown at times so covered footwear recommended. Pity they don’t mow this trail more frequently.
Emu Swamp
The track has always been dry when I’ve done this walk but due to it’s name, it may get wet! There is a resident kangaroo that I’ve seen a few times on this walk.
Views of Mt Peregian
Nice views of Emu mountain from along the trail.
The Trail
The actual trail is nothing spectacular and includes lots of tea trees and banksias. The last section of trail can get a bit overgrown if council haven’t mowed in a while.
Peregian Beach
Enjoy the beach before heading back the same way. Beach access 67 off Lorikeet Drive.
