This is a moderate 6.4km loop trail from Marcus beach to Lake Weyba along fire trails and bush tracks through East Weyba Section of Noosa National Park.
Activities: Walking, running.
Parking: Trail entrance is on Hawthorn grove, near Peppertree close, Marcus beach.
The Trail
This is a mostly sandy trail and is a bit boring at the start but further along there are lovely views of the coast. There are open sections so not a lot of shade. It is a shame dogs are not permitted on this trail.
Follow map below to navigate this trail. When you loop around and reach David Low Way, you unfortunately need to walk south along David Low way for a section before you can join the coastal pathway and then veer off to take Mahogany drive back to start.
Views
Nice coastal views from the higher sections of this trail. Glimpses of lake Weyba from the high sections also.
Lake Weyba
The narrow track to lake is a bit overgrown which is a shame as you can’t see much when you do get to the lake.
