Mount Coolum to Marcoola

This is an easy 7.7km loop along the coastal trail and beach from Mt Coolum beach to Marcoola. You can do this trail as an out and back along pathway but I like to go one way along the coastal pathway and the other along the beach.

Activities: Walking, dog walking, swim, running.

Parking: Carpark at end of Breezeway Street, Mount Coolum or from the southern end park at end of Green Turtle place, Marcoola.

The Pathway

This section of the coastal pathway includes the scenic boardwalk with views of Mt Coolum and is a nice wide pathway towards Marcoola. The pathway goes alongside David Low way near the airport which is pretty boring so you can detour to the beach for this section if preferred. Take beach access 110 to 112 to avoid the busy road.

Great views of Mt Coolum from this boardwalk at Mt Coolum at the entrance from Breezeway Street.

Beach

Beautiful quiet long stretch of beach here with a patrolled beach for swimming at Marcoola SLSC.
