The Trail
This scenic walk along the Coastal Pathway is popular with both locals and visitors. I started from beach access 263 at the end of Bell Street, Dicky Beach and went to the end of Des Dwyer Walkway at Moffat Heads before turning back but you can easily keep going further.
Dicky Beach is a lively spot with cafes, restaurants, a playground, and a patrolled surf beach. As you stroll towards Moffat Heads, you’ll enjoy spectacular ocean views and can even take a break at one of the local eateries or relax at the playground.
The pathway is well-loved for its easy-going nature and stunning coastal scenery. Whether you’re walking, running, or strolling with your dog, this trail offers a delightful coastal experience from start to finish.
The Pathway
The pathway along this section of the coastal walk includes a grassed area and a couple of short footpaths beside the road. If it’s low tide you can avoid the road completely and walk along the beach instead. To avoid the road, head along beach between beach access 266 – 268. The trail ends at beach access 263 on the northern side of this walk.
Beach
Beautiful views over the coast with lovely beaches which are popular with swimmers and surfers. Great views over the headland at Moffat from Dicky beach as you head south on the pathway.
