Kings Beach to Bulcock Beach

5 February 2022 Sunshine Coast Walks 0 Comments

This is an easy 3.7km out and back trail along the Coastal pathway in Caloundra.

Activities: Walking, running, dog walking.

Parking: Kings Beach carpark, Caloundra.

This is a beautiful and very busy coastal pathway which is popular with locals and visitors. There are quite a few cafe’s and restaurants scattered along the pathway as well as parks, playground, patrolled surf beach and the calm waters of pumicestone passage.

Kings Beach

You could easily spend hours here enjoying the water, walkway and then relax with a drink or meal.

The Pathway

The pathway starts from Kings beach near the Surf club heading south past Happy Valley and Bulcock beach to the La Promenade Cafe where the pathway ends. Then return the same way.

This walk is super easy and flat, and follows close to the water the whole way. Not much shade.

Pumicestone Passage

Enjoy the lovely calm waters of pumicestone passage at Bulcock beach. Water activities available for hire.

“If the ocean can calm itself, so can you. We are both salt water mixed with air.”
