Verrierdale Rise Nature Reserve

This is an easy 3.5km out and back circuit trail with a short loop through nature reserve in Verrierdale, near Doonan.

Activities: Walking, running, dog walking.

Parking: Park at corner of Dean rd, and Butler rd, Verrierdale or you can access the Nature Reserve and avoid the gravel road for a shorter walk from the end of Parkdale Rd, or the end of Butler rd, Verrierdale.

The Trail

The trail starts off along a dead end gravel road before entering the forest. You can then do a loop through the reserve before heading back to start. I don’t mind walking down the gravel road as it is nice countryside and never see any cars.

Countryside

Along the quiet dead-end gravel road, there are farms before you get to the forest entrance.
