Wappa Dam & Falls

This is not a trail, however I have included it here because it has a few tracks and is a beautiful spot to go and explore. I did a 2.7km walk around this area between the dam and Wappa Falls which are located in Kiamba, west of Yandina.

Activities: Walking, swim.

Parking: Carpark at Wappa Dam off Wappa Park Road, Kiamba.

Wappa Dam

The dam area is well maintained and a lovely spot to enjoy a walk in nature.

Wappa Falls

This is a small waterfall, but is still very pretty and the area is very quiet midweek, I had the place to myself. It may get busy on weekends in the warm weather but I went in winter.

The Trail

There is a short trail from Wappa dam through to Wappa falls. I explored the whole area following every track i found. However the main areas to visit are the grounds around the dam and down to the falls.
