This is an easy 1.6km out and back trail through Coolum Creek Conservation Park at Maroochy river, between Yandina and Coolum. There is a section of gravel road to get here.
Activities: Walking, running, bird watching, dog walking & bikes.
Parking: Carpark off River road, Maroochy River.
Creek & Wetlands
The trail follows along the creek and you can see cattle in the nearby paddocks across the creek. Lots of water birds when you get to the end of the trail looking out over the wetlands.
Views of Mt Ninderry can be seen from the end of trail.
The Trail
The trail is a wide gravel pathway and not a lot of shade. Can be quite hot so best to avoid in the heat of the day.
