Activities: Walking, hiking, nature, picnic tables.
Parking: Carpark at end of Mapleton Falls road, Mapleton. Or you can access from Daymar road, Mapleton which is the short road joining both forests.
You can do a shorter version of this walk here – Mapleton Falls loop.
The Trail
This trail is part of the ‘Sunshine Coast Hinterland great walk’. The carpark is right at the falls lookout which has wheelchair access to enjoy the view. The walking trails start from here with Wompoo circuit then there is a short section along a quiet road between the Falls National park and Delicia conservation park.
The falls are popular and it can get busy on weekends but the Delicia park section is fairly quiet.
View
It’s difficult to take a photo of the falls. The viewing platform is above the falls and you just can’t capture it in a photo. The only way to photograph the falls would be with a drone. But it is really beautiful and definitely worth going just for the view!
Peregrine Lookout
This lookout is in Mapleton falls National park along Wompoo circuit.
