Ewen Maddock Dam

This is a moderately easy 8.6km out and back trail along Ewen Maddock Dam between Mooloolah and Landsborough.

Activities: Walking, running, horse riding & mountain biking, fishing, BBQ’s and playground.

Parking: Carpark at 221 Connection Road, Mooloolah Valley.

The Trail

The trail is popular on weekends, but fairly quiet midweek. The trail follows along the edge of the dam. Some hills on the circuit trails. Views of the lake from several spots along the walk. Lovely bush tracks and well sign posted.

Ewen Maddock Dam is part of South East Queensland’s drinking water supply. It is popular for fishing and non-motorised water activities.
