This is an easy 6.6km loop along the beach one way and coastal trail the other. The coastal trail on this section does include some pathways along streets but it’s still a lovely walk if you include the beach one way.
Activities: Walking, running, dog walking.
Parking: Point Arkwright headlands park on Jubilee Esplanade (between Andrew St and Arthur St), Point Arkwright. Or start from the Boardwalk on Breezeway Street, Mount Coolum.
I started this walk from Point Arkwright and walked along coastal pathway to the boardwalk at Mt Coolum then headed back along the beach.
Beach
Point Arkwright has a beautiful stretch of beach with views for miles.
Mt Coolum
Good views of Mt Coolum from the boardwalk and along coastal pathway.
The Trail
Follow the coastal pathway signs to navigate through quiet suburban streets and pathway alongside David low way. Partly shady trail along sections of this pathway.
