Cranks Creek Pathway Loop

10 September 2021 Sunshine Coast Walks 0 Comments

This is an easy 5.5km circuit in Noosa Outlook estate. The pathway follows along cranks creek and doonella lake, around Alec Loveday Park before looping around St Teresa’s school and back to start.

Activities: Walking, running, bikes, dog walking, prams.

Parking: You can access the trail from various points but I park on Outlook drive, between Freeman and Richardson Ct, Noosaville.

The Pathway

This is a lovely walk through beautiful bushland in the heart of suburbia. The pathway is well maintained and even though it isn’t officially a loop trail. I extended it to make a loop by taking a short walk through quiet streets and past the school to join back onto the track.

There is a maze of pathways on this walk so it’s easy to miss a turn. Hard to get too lost though as it borders either Noosa Bushlands, Noosa Outlook, St Teresa’s school or Lake Doonella depending where you end up.

Doonella Lake

You can get glimpses and access to Doonella lake through the trees on some sections of pathway through the mangroves.

“Take a quiet walk with mother nature. It will nurture your mind, body & soul”.

– A.D Williams
