Emu Mountain (Mt Peregian) loop

This is an easy 1.6km loop up Emu Mountain between Peregian Beach & Coolum.

Activities: Walking, running.

Parking: Carpark at end of Havana Road East, Coolum.

If you would like a slightly more challenging loop up this small mountain then try Emu Mountain via Hakea Trail loop.

Emu Mountain

Emu mountain is more of a hill climb than a mountain climb. Its an easy rocky track and there isn’t any emu’s either.

The Trail

This is an easy hill climb with views over Peregian and Coolum. The trail starts from near Coolum High school. Take the trail up the mountain and then come down on the righthand side for a different track, then loop back to start.

Views

Views over Coolum and towards Peregian beach. Great easy hike up for sunset or sunrise also.
