This is a moderate 4.5km out & back loop in Tewantin Forestry Reserve in Tewantin. This is a popular mountain bike trail so if doing this one on foot, best to avoid busy times and go midweek mornings when there aren’t many bikes.
The trail is mostly shady and has a mix of rocky, narrow, wide, hilly and overgrown trails but is interesting and has nice forest in places.
Activities: Walking, running, mountain bikes.
Parking: Gyndier drive off Cooroy-Noosa road, Tewantin.
The Trail
This trail starts off along Gyndier Drive which is a closed off bitumen road, then veers off on a winding dirt trail. It is necessary to follow GPS app or map to find your way on this one as there are a maze of tracks in this forest and very easy to take the wrong one.
