Buderim-Palmwoods Heritage Tramway Walk

This is an easy 3.8km out and back forest trail between in Mons, between Buderim and Palmwoods. Situated only 2kms from the town of Buderim it’s worth checking this one out if you’re in the area.

It’s just down the road from Kunara Organic Marketplace so worth stopping in here also.

Activities: Walking, running, dog walking.

Parking: Small carpark at start of Telco Rd, off Mons rd, Mons.

The Trail

This trail is suitable for all-weather and is lined with lovely tall forest and is high up in places (without having to walk uphill) so you can look down to the rainforest valley below.

History

Displays of the history of the Buderim to Palmwoods train line are located at the start of the Trail.
