Cooloolabin Dam

This is an easy 3km out and back loop trail around Cooloolabin dam near Yandina. The trail starts from the day use area and is suitable for all fitness levels.

Activities: Walking, picnic tables.

Parking: Carpark at the dam day use area off Cooloolabin Road.

The Trail

The trail starts from the day use area carpark and you can then follow the pathway across to the forest entrance. Follow the forest trail to the first intersection then turn right. Continue along until you reach the water then follow outside trail along the water all the way around the outside until it joins back to centre trail and then back to starting point.

There are picnic tables and swings, but not much else. It is a lovely spot to visit and the forest walk is easy and shady. Unfortunately no dogs allowed on this walk. Below is the weir and Day use area.
