Wompoo Circuit Mapleton Falls loop

This is an easy 1.6km loop trail in Mapleton Falls National Park. The trail is suitable for all fitness levels and is shady and full of birdlife. 

Activities: Walking, hiking.

Parking: Carpark at end of Mapleton Falls road, Mapleton.

The Trail

This trail is part of the ‘Sunshine Coast Hinterland great walk’. The carpark is right at the falls lookout which has wheelchair access to enjoy the view. The walking trail around Wompoo circuit has some beautiful rainforest along with Peregrine lookout.

Views

Photo’s just don’t capture the real beauty of this place. The lookouts offer sweeping views from high above the falls. You can hear the falls more than you can see them, but views are worth the visit.
