This is a moderate 3.5km out and back trail in Beerburrum forest reserve, near Glasshouse mountains. Beautiful views from the top. A good workout for the legs but worth it for the views.
Activities: Walking & hiking.
Parking: There is a carpark at Beerburrum State School, off Beerburrum road, Beerburrum.
The Views
From the lookout tower there are views over Glasshouse mountains and surrounding areas. The trees surrounding the lookout do hinder the view but, there is a good photo vantage point off the track 3/4 of the way up to the top where there is a gap in the forest.
The Trail
The start of this trail is along a dirt track through native bush, then it changes to a concrete pathway that takes you up a steep steady incline to the top.
“If we surrendered to earth’s intelligence we could rise up rooted, like trees.”
Rainer Maria Rilke
