Castaways beach to Sunrise Beach

This is an easy 4.7km loop between Castaways and Sunrise beach near Noosa. The trail follows the coastal pathway in one direction and along the beach.

Activities: Walking, swim, dog walking & running.

Parking: You can start from either Castaways or Sunrise. I park at carpark on David Low way at Castaways beach access 40 + 41. If starting from Sunrise beach, there is limited parking at beach access 36 on Tingira Crs Sunrise beach. There are toilets at both start and finish and drinking water at Castaways.

There is a coffee shop in Sunrise near the end of the pathway before entering the beach access so you can grab a coffee on the way.

The Trail

There is a concrete pathway along most of this trail. A short section is along a footpath beside David Low Way. Continue along pathway to Sunrise beach on Tingira Crs where there is a short section along a narrow grass trail which leads to toilet block and beach access. Only some shady areas along this trail.

Beautiful beach views from along the trail. This section of beach as well as the trail is dog friendly.
