This is an easy short 2.5km circuit along the foreshore at Lake Weyba in Peregian beach. Lake Weyba is a shallow salt water lake and is home to a lot of stingrays.
Activities: Walking, swimming & dog walking. The area is popular for water activities such as kayaking, kite surfing and the trails are regularly used by local horse riders.
Parking: Park at the end of Lakewood drive, Peregian Beach.
This is an easy walk along the foreshore on a mostly sandy trail and alongside two creeks.
Enter the trail and turn left then follow the gravel path until you reach the lake. Turn left and walk along foreshore to the creek and then return along same way until you reach a right turn which will take you back to start.
If you don’t mind getting your feet wet, you can continue along foreshore out past the creek.

The Trail
This is a very short trail but I still enjoy it, when the weather is good and the water is like glass its very peaceful.
