This trail is an easy 8.5km out and back circuit from Peregian beach to Emu Mountain near Coolum.

Parking: Beach Carpark at Peregian Beach township.
This walk is varied and includes an easy mountain climb, a beautiful stretch of beach, a boardwalk through mangroves and short sections along paved pathways. Enjoy a stroll around Peregian where there are shops, cafe’s and restaurants along with a patrolled beach.
*Note: this trail includes a road crossing over David Low Way.
From the carpark at Peregian, head south along the beach until you reach beach access #68 which takes you across towards Emu Mountain through mangroves.

The Trail
Then cross over David low way and take the pathway south towards Coolum beach for a short distance until you see the National Park entrance on your right. Follow the trail around and take the track on left up Emu mountain to the top, then take the front trail back down to Havana road, opposite the school.
Emu Mountain
Head along pathway and back across David low way heading back north towards Peregian beach.
This pathway takes you out onto a quiet suburban street where you can loop back onto the beach to return to start point.
