This is an easy 3.8km loop trail along the Coastal pathway one way and along beach the other. This section of the coastal pathway and beach is popular and can get very busy on weekends and during school holidays.
Activities: Walking, running, dog walking.
Parking: Along Watson Street Currimundi or any of the side streets near Currimundi beach.
The Beach
This is another beautiful stretch of beach from Currimundi lake south to Dicky beach. Currimundi creek crosses midway along this section and is a popular spot for dog walkers. The dogs were having a ball playing in the creek the day I walked along here.
Coondibah Creek Environmental Reserve
This section of pathway is shady and covered with trees.
Pathway
The other sections of this coastal pathway are well maintained and have beach access points scattered along the path. There is a very short section along the footpath of a quiet street but overall it’s a great walk.
